NetConnect 3

NetConnect 3 is the latest version of the award-winning NetConnect package from Active Technologies. NetConnect 3 is the easiest and most comprehensive Internet compilation for the Amiga to date, and is designed to enable any Amiga user from novice to expert to get onto and use the Internet.

NetConnect 3 is Based around 12 commercial programs (including Octopus, dock bar manager), and is worth over £170 if bought separately. NetConnect 3 gives you all you'll need to get the most from the Internet on your Amiga, and includes the latest version of the award-winning applications Voyager and AmIRC from VaporWare. With the Genesis Wizard, you can connect to the Internet in a matter of minutes. It's ideal for both an Internet or local area network connection.

Other features include the MIME Prefs System, a central interface allowing you to set up file actions once for all NetConnect applications; Contact Manager, a management interface that stores your favourite web- and ftp-sites, IRC servers/channels, and more; and Octopus, a drag and drop toolbar application which allows you to create your your own customised toolbars. The CD-Rom comes with MIME and Datatypes preconfigured for use.

NetConnect is a Multi User System - each component uses preferences specific to the current user, such your own Voyager bookmarks, Microdot-II account(s), and more.

Each application is keyfile based, so that you can use the applications in NetConnect with any TCP stack such as Miami.
